My Second Lingpai Experience: Losing Consciousness and Falling While Cleaning Up Kitchen Cupboard In My New House
In 2023, I purchased a property in Las Vegas with the intention of turning it into a B&B guesthouse. Shortly after moving in, while organizing the kitchen cupboard one day, I found some bottles of spices left behind by the previous homeowner in the overhead cabinet. Assuming most of those spices were likely expired, I pulled over a chair, wanting to stand on it and clear them out.
Just as I reached for one of the bottles, for some weird reason, I suddenly felt dazed, then lost consciousness entirely. I fell heavily from the chair, landing directly on the right side of my face, which immediately started bleeding. My family, seeing me lying unconscious on the floor, rushed me to the emergency at the local hospital. The X ray showed comminuted fractures in my right cheekbone just underneath my right eye. After necessary wound treatment, the doctor suggested I seek further treatment at a plastic surgery hospital.
Two weeks later, my entire right face remained painfully swollen. Concerned about the possibility of permanent disfigurement and potential vision damage, I decided to contact Dr. Zhongzheng Kuwei again to address this fall injury through Lingpai.
During the Lingpai session, the following scene unfolded: as I had just stepped onto the chair and was about to sort out the spice bottles, a portrait of the 4th emperor of the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Kangxi The Great, appeared on the wall behind me. He looked at me, and his gaze was as sharp as a knife. Just as I reached to pick up one of the bottles, he had already quietly stood behind me. With his left hand, he suddenly pushed the left back of my head, causing me to fall to the right.
It turned out that, in Emperor Kangxi’s perception, that bottle of condiment was no ordinary item. It was a special spice native to Manchuria, a product belonging to the Kangxi era. As the empire expanded its territory, this condiment was brought to every corner under its influence, symbolizing the dynasty’s glory. Knowing that I was cleaning up the cabinet that day and would surely discard that bottle, he decided to strike first before I could act. The moment he walked behind me with that piercing gaze, I lost consciousness.
Guided by Dr. Kuwei, I spoke word by word to Emperor Kangxi’s soul, saying what he wanted to hear the most: “You are truly remarkable! Your imperial territory has expanded all the way to America—even Las Vegas is included. Even my small cabinet contains your spice. How glorious your empire is! I apologize. The label on the bottle is entirely in English, with not a single Chinese character. I mistakenly thought it was some local American product, like cannabis, and thus intended to throw it away. I had no idea your spice had already spread to every corner of the United States. It was my fault for not examining it carefully.”
After hearing these words, Kangxi Emperor’s soul departed, satisfied. The entire process took only 18 minutes. Dr. Kuwei told me that if this matter had not been addressed properly, not only the emperor would not leave, he might also have continued to push me from time to time, making recovery unlikely.
After this Lingpai session, the swelling in my right face subsided quickly, and the wound gradually healed. Several months later, the fracture had completely recovered—pressing on it caused no pain. No aftereffects remained.
